Encounters: ten ways the night desk fills a hotel evening, from one hour to several nights

Every booking that reaches Henrietta is filed under one of ten encounters. The list below runs roughly from the shortest to the longest, and each page sets out the same particulars: how the hours tend to pass, which rooms and districts suit it, what the first message should include and which names on the rota fit it best. The figures never change between encounters. One hour is £250 whether it is spent over a nightcap upstairs or in the lounge downstairs, and the full set of figures lives on the rates page.

Two rules hold for all ten. Each covers time and companionship only, and the fee goes to her directly, in person, when she arrives. Nothing is ever charged to your room.

From one hour to several nights

Short bookings first. Room visits start at one hour and cover most same night requests. Suite dinners hold four hours around a table, in the restaurant or on a trolley upstairs. The girlfriend experience is about manner more than length: warm, familiar company from the first minute. For evenings with more people in them, there are duos, a companion for couples and a night out that ends at the lift.

Then the longer entries. The overnight runs ten hours from aperitif to breakfast. Arrivals and travel are planned around a flight, ballroom and boardroom evenings around a seating plan, and long stays around a checkout date several days away.

Every route on the board

Each encounter can begin in any of the twelve destinations, from the grand lobbies of Mayfair to the towers by London Bridge. Across Zones 1 and 2, her cab never appears on the quote. Bookings at Heathrow and Gatwick need a minimum of three hours, which include her travel. The hotels named across these pages are there to help you find your bearings; none has any arrangement with the desk.

Not sure which one fits?

Describe the night in a sentence or two on WhatsApp or Telegram: the hotel, the hour, the length and what you would like the evening to feel like. Henrietta files it under the right encounter, replies with a short list of names free that night, and confirms the figure and the minute of the knock, normally inside fifteen minutes. The booking page walks through each step.
