On Stacy

  • Chelsea, SW3
  • Comedy, snowboarding, street photography
  • Slim, 176 cm
  • Brown eyes, long near-black brown hair

Based in Chelsea, and happy to travel to any hotel in town.

At 176 cm in flat boots, Stacy does not need heels to be noticed, and she wears them anyway. She is bold and spontaneous, with an edge of mischief, and she is the one on the rota for guests who finish their last meeting at nine and want the night to take a turn nobody planned. Tall enough to see over any crowd, she is also quick to spot a free table in a packed bar. Slim and brown eyed, with near black brown hair reaching well below her shoulders, she dresses for nightlife with an edge: metallic fabrics, a leather jacket, silver at the wrists.

She is twenty two and her English is deadpan and quick. She snowboards every winter and takes street photographs all year round, usually along the King's Road after dark, where the shop windows light the pavement like a stage. Her best nights out involve stand up, and her go to is the Top Secret Comedy Club on Drury Lane, a basement where the acts are raw and the laughter is loud; she likes the late show best. Afterwards a drink somewhere in Covent Garden and a cab back to your hotel, with her retelling the best joke of the night in a slightly better version. She makes decisions quickly and changes them quicker, and somehow it always works out. If a show is sold out, she has a second plan before you have finished reading the sign, and guests who are tired of polite evenings tend to remember her for months.

Stacy lives in Chelsea, a short ride from the hotels of Belgravia and a little further from the Covent Garden theatres. Same night requests are welcome; send Henrietta your hotel and she will usually confirm within minutes.

After dark Stacy

Stacy, after hours

Quarter to ten, the queue on Drury Lane. Stacy waves you past it because she has already sorted the tickets, and leads you down the stairs into a small, warm room with a microphone and not many chairs. She laughs at the jokes that go wrong as much as the ones that land, heckles once, politely, and wins. Afterwards Covent Garden is winding down, and she takes three photographs of a closing shop front before you reach the corner. A late drink, a cab west and a running commentary on the city through the window. In your hotel room she tells the headline joke again with a better punchline she has just thought of, then turns the camera on the view from your window and decides it is the best shot of the night.

FAQ 03

Stacy, answering

3 things guests tend to ask before booking, answered in Stacy's own words.

A little. That is the fun. If a comic picks on you, laugh first and answer second. I will help.

Somewhere high with a lot of snow and a cheap lift pass. I snowboard badly and happily, and I always come home with a new bruise and a better story.

Never. Shop windows after closing, doorways, people waiting for taxis, but never a face I know. The King's Road at midnight is my favourite street in London.

Notes on Stacy

No notes on file for Stacy yet, and the desk will never invent one. Guests add a note only once a booking has actually taken place; it shows nothing but their first name and when it was written, and Henrietta reads every one before it is posted.

Should Stacy want a note about her withdrawn, it comes down the same day.
