On Michelle

  • Chelsea, SW3
  • Sailing, museums, cocktails
  • Curvy, 173 cm
  • Brown eyes, long straight dark brown hair

Based in Chelsea, and happy to travel to any hotel in town.

Michelle talks, easily and warmly, and within ten minutes she has found out where you grew up, what you had for breakfast and which museum you have always meant to visit. It is not nosiness. She is nurturing by nature and simply likes to know that the people around her are comfortable, fed and in good spirits, and she has a way of making sure of it without ever fussing.

Tall and curvy at 173 cm, Michelle lets her dark brown hair fall straight past her shoulders; warm brown eyes, rose tones and fluid fabrics complete the picture, the kind of dress that moves when she walks. She is in her late twenties. English is her language and conversation her favourite pastime; she can keep a table of strangers laughing, or talk quietly with one person until the candles burn down.

On weekends she sails whenever the wind allows, and at home she mixes a very serious cocktail, so a hotel bar with a good bartender is her natural habitat. Her favourite evening starts at Chelsea Harbour, with the boats knocking gently in the marina and a drink at the hotel on the water, then dinner close by. On a free afternoon she will steer you to the Design Museum on Kensington High Street instead, and tell you the story behind the chair you are both admiring.

Chelsea is home for Michelle, and the hotels of Knightsbridge and South Kensington are a quick cab away. Most evenings are open and she replies quickly; ask Henrietta and you will usually have an answer within minutes.

After dark Michelle

Michelle, after hours

Michelle likes an evening with water in it. She meets you at Chelsea Harbour as the light goes, masts ticking in the marina, and walks you along the boardwalk explaining which boats she would take out and which she would not trust in a breeze. A drink at the hotel bar overlooking the water, where she watches the bartender work and asks, charmingly, for one small change to the recipe. Over dinner she makes sure you have eaten properly, fills your water glass without asking and finds out three things about you that nobody at your conference knows. Later, back at your hotel, her shoes come off, she tucks herself into the armchair, and she asks for the rest of the story you started at the table.

FAQ 03

Michelle, answering

3 things guests tend to ask before booking, answered in Michelle's own words.

Ask what they are proudest of. You will get a better drink and a story with it, and I will want to taste it.

Down the Thames and out past the estuary on a calm day, with a flask of coffee. It is slow and grey and I love every minute of it.

The Design Museum. Pick three objects you would have in your home and tell me why. It is the best hour in Kensington.
